Mr. Armand Le Fort Assesses Online Shopping in Canada

Online shopping in Canada is very poor. The best for Pantry Shelf type foods is Walmart.ca. I wish they would carry as many products as their U.S. Counterpart, and that they would add some Canadian products that they don't carry, such as French Canadian Cretons, etc. However, they are the best that Canada has. They ship free over a $50.00 order, they are fast, good service, and prices are cheaper than any other online store.A few other Vitamin stores are not bad, such as Wells.ca, and Swanson, although their prices are not that great. You can waste a lot of time on the Internet with stores that claim to be Online Stores, but only deliver in Toronto, and/or in major cities, and worst yet are those that don't deliver at all, they just allow you to order online, but then you have to go and pick it up.

Update on my Assessment of Walmart Stores
by: Armand Le FortAnonymous

Since I wrote the original assessment of Walmart Stores, they have stopped shipping items from their Pantry Shelf.
For any delivery of Pantry Shelf items, you have to live within a certain area, and you have to arrange a time for your Order to be dropped off at home if you’re close, or at a Drop-Off location, within a prescribed area.
I am very disappointed at Walmart, especially during these
Self-Isolation Times, due to the Covid-19 Outbreak.

Sorry to hear Your experiences have been so poor
by: Ruth

Hi Mr. Le Fort,
I'm sorry to hear your experiences have been so poor with online shopping in Canada.

I realize there is still lots of potential for improvement, but I thought there were some already.

There are more stores that offer delivery - particularly with groceries now. And I still think there is golden opportunity for some smart people to hustle a bit and get delivery services going.

I haven't been able to afford to try out all the options that are out there, but I'd like to. In the meantime, feedback from those who have tried it is always good.

Folks, please do share your personal experiences. They may just help someone else.

Blessings,
Ruth
